Panangad is a village nearly 2Km (Madavana junction) from National Highway-47(Alappuzha -Ernakulam). The boat race will be held on the back waters between Cheppanam and Panangad.

TDM Hall
This Hall is Situated in the Durbar Hall Road(DH Road) is a land mark of Kochi. This hall opened on 1941, owned by Karayogam of Ernakulam. This hall witnessed lot of historical events through these years. Thottekkatt Diwans' Memorial hall now serves as the prestigious venue of Public functions, marriages and religious discourses etc.

The historic procession 'Athachamayam' will be held on 2nd August. The procession will start from Thripunithura Government Boys High School ground (atham nagar). In that ground Atham trade fare and Amusement park are arranged.
Atham procession will have caparisoned elephants,display of children,theyyam-thira, kavadiyattam, bommakkolu, panchavadyam, chendamelam, bandmelam, shingarimelam, pulikali, peelikkavadi, kottakkavadi, poykal kuthira, padayani, floats and many more. There will be athapookkala competition in Neon auditorium.

A space for relaxation, Pay and park facilities available. Two entrants one opposite to Ramavarma Club and the other opposite to TDM Hall.
A green spot at the heart of Ernakulam. An ideal place to have a get together with friends. During Utsavam the processions from the temple will terminate at this ground.

Durbar hall means the Royal Court house. Now it is fuctioning as an Art gallery. Besides the art gallery the hall houses a 'Parikshith Thampuran Museum' which show cases the paintings, sculptures and coins from the 19th centuary. Maharaja proclaimed the constitution of Cochin state from this ground in 1938.
This ground is a venue for cultural activities. It has an open air stadium. Bharath Tourist Home (BTH) a pure vegetarian Hotel is also near to this.

Firing of Ravana
A spectacular event conducted at Sree Subrahmanya swamy temple, Perunna on the last day of Karkkidakam month. A huge Ravana, made with hay and fire crackers was the chief attraction. Other characters in the Ramayana was also present. Sri rama, Lakshmana, Hanuman and a lot of Vanaras. Every head was fired with an asthram. At last Ravana ended with a big blast. This function was conducted as the last event of Valamiki Ramayana reading in the temple.

Athachamayam
A unique procession from Thripunithura. A spectacular event showcasing all ethnic art forms and different phases of Kerala in the auspicious day of Atham(10 days before Onam). Its legend connects with the Cochin Royal family. There will be Pulikali, Mayilattam, Kavadi attam, Karakam thullal, Mohini attom, Thiruvathira kali and Caparisoned elephants accompanied by Panchavadyam. There will be a lot of floats with contemporary themes. Different clubs and resident associations sponsor items in this great procession. The best float will get rewards.
